THE TEXT EDITOR works similarly to the toolbar in any Word Processor, and offers all common text and image formatting tools.
Activate the workspace by clicking the Text Tools Action [the pencil icon] on any page, then simply start writing. If there´s already content on the page, you can also click the text directly.When the workspace is active, a formatting toolbar appears on top of your browser window:
- To the left are Save, Undo, Redo, Special Characters, and Edit Raw HTML, followed by Link, Image Formatting, and Image Upload.
- In the middle are the usual text formatting options. Note that only the Freestyle Page Type has Font Family and Font Size tools.
- To the right are tools for creating lists and tables.
Hover the mouse over any button to display a tooltip.
If you are the Website Owner, there will be an extra button to the left of Save - the Hamburger Icon. Clicking it will change the Text Editor to a much simpler toolbar attached to the workspace [replacing the full-size one at the top of the window]. Switch Text Editor mode at any time, on any page.
Tip: in Editing mode [when an editable block of content is active], the usual shortcuts - [like CTRL-S for saving, or CTRL-Z for Undo, for example, - works just like in any Word Processor].
